This idea certainly begins with the songwriter. Keeping it real isn't just a catchphrase, it's part of our commitment to being upfront with writers. We feel that songwriters are entitled to honest assessments and an open dialog about whether their songs are right for our catalog. Our goal is not to build the largest catalog, but rather to build one that reflects well on writers and the company. In other words, its all about the quality, not the quantity.
Consistent with our honest approach to song assessment, we strive to offer durable material -- compositions that will stand the test of time and be well-suited for placement in a variety of media. We recognize that the longer a musical composition remains commercially viable, the more income potential for the writer, the publisher, and third-parties who license the material.
Finally -- and most importantly -- we are completely devoted to helping songwriters make the best music possible. Unless the music is right, absolutely nothing happens.
